New education, professional and ethical standards are expected to have a profound effect on the number of financial advisers operating in the Australian market between now and when the last of the standards comes into place in January 2024.

As advisers appear increasingly likely to leave institutionally branded licensees to seek out independent licensing arrangements, it’s never been more important, nor more difficult, to track adviser movements.

The CoreData Adviser Intelligence Dashboard provides an up-to-date overview of the structure of the Australian financial advice market. Drawing on CoreData’s analysis of the ASIC financial adviser register, the dashboard details the 10 largest Australian financial services licensees (AFSLs) measured by adviser numbers.

PAGE ONE and PAGE TWO of the dashboard allow results to be filtered by licensee parent entity. It covers the total number of currently registered financial advisers and movements into and out of the industry, currently registered advisers for each of the top 10 licensee parent entities, and adviser movements between licensee parent entities.

The CoreData Adviser Intelligence Dashboard is updated regularly and we welcome your feedback.
