A year to remember, or a year to forget? CoreData’s review of 2020

In 2020 we all had to adapt quickly to a suddenly changed world, and to find new and innovative ways to of doing business and interacting with clients.

It was a year when consumers’ uncertainty and doubt saw a re-think of the true value of advice. It became clear that there’s a gap in financial and non-financial wellbeing between people who receive professional advice and those who don’t, and that gap is getting wider.

During the year CoreData provided data-driven insights into how consumers and clients think and behave, and how the industry has been reshaped to emerge leaner but more efficient and more focused than ever on delivering high-quality professional advice and services.

Your engagement with us over the year through participation in our surveys, reading and providing feedback on our published material and attendance (both physical and virtual) at events, were indispensable in enabling us to deliver those insights.

Thank you from the entire CoreData team for your support. We look forward to working with you again in the coming year and continuing to help you to convert the challenges ahead into opportunities. Meanwhile we hope you enjoy our end-of-year video, recapping some of our key industry insights for 2020.

All the best for Christmas from the team at CoreData. We hope to see you soon in the new year.

CoreData’s offices will close at 5pm on December 23 and reopen at 9am on January 4.
